Upon termination of your account, we may process your User Content in any appropriate manner in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including by deleting it, and you will no longer have access to your User Content. There is no technical facility within HOAfriends to enable access to your User Content following termination of your account.

1. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

When you post Content in your HOAfriends account, this Content will be immediately and exclusively viewable to other HOAfriends users within your community. As well, you may post Content privately within your HOAfriends account by direct messages, emails, or posts communicated privately and exclusively only to other HOAfriends users in your community. You may also use our Services under a pseudonym if you choose not to use your name.

When you use our Services, we may collect information that you provide to us, such as your name, address, username, password, email address, phone number, and date of birth. If you ever contact customer support, we will collect information you provide or that we require to resolve your question. As well, we may collect other information by your use of our Services, such as the type of device used to access the Services and your IP address.

We may use your contact information, such as your email address or phone number, to authenticate and secure your account and our Services, and to help prevent spam, fraud, and abuse. Based on your privacy settings, we may also use your contact information from time to time to send you information about our Services.

For example, that you viewed a particular advertisement, or responded to and/or posted comments within your live steaming feed, or which HOAfriends users you have exchanged messages with. As well, we may collect and use your anonymized or de-identified usage data for any purpose whatsoever, including commercial, research, development, or compliance purposes.

Similar to most online services and mobile applications, we may use cookies and other technologies to collect additional website usage data and to operate our Services. Cookies may be required for many parts of our Services such as searching and looking at public profiles. Although most web browsers accept cookies by default, you may prefer to set your browser’s settings to decline cookies or alert you when a website is attempting to place a cookie on your computer. Please note, however, some of our services may not function properly if you disable cookies. As well, in order to securely and reliably set up, maintain, and provide our Services, we may also collect information about your signup and current location from signals received from your IP address or device settings.

3. INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM THIRD PARTIES

We may collect information about your browser activity from third parties, our affiliates, or other users. For example, we may obtain information about how you use or interact with other services, third party links within our Services, or from any links forwarded to you via our emails. 4. HOW YOU CAN CONTROL THE INFORMATION YOU SHARE WITH US

When you are logged into your HOAfriends account, you can manage your privacy settings and other account features at any time. Please note: it may take a brief amount of time for privacy settings to be fully reflected throughout our systems. By adjusting your browser and HOAfriends account settings, you will be able to adjust your privacy and safety settings to permit the following:

Whether your posts or Content is publicly available on HOAfriends
Whether other users can tag you in a photo
Whether you will receive direct messages from anyone within your HOAfriends community or just your selected friends
Whether you want to block or mute other HOAfriends users

5. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

As discussed in the previous paragraphs, when you view Content or use our Services, we receive information about your usage, which we call “Activity Data”, which may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, the originating web page, pages visited, or your mobile carrier, device information, search terms, and cookie information. This data is used by us to (i) continuously improve, develop, operate, maintain, deliver, and protect our products and Services, (ii) send you communication, including by email, (iii) monitor and analyze trends and usage, (iv) personalize our Services by suggesting friends, profile information, affiliates, and third-party apps and services, (v) improve on the valued content and advertising we provide, (vi) ensure the security and reliability of our accounts and Services, (vii) verify your identify and prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity, and (viii) enforce, investigate, and report conduct violating our Terms of Service, requests from law enforcement, and to comply with all legal requirements.

In order to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, legal process, or governmental requests, we may preserve, use, share, or disclose your personal data, or other safety data. We may also process your information as we solely deem necessary in order to protect the safety or integrity of our Website, prevent spam, abuse, fraud, technical difficulties, malicious activities, or to explain why Content or accounts were removed.

7. CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP AND AFFILIATES

Only in the event that we are involved in a reorganization, acquisition, merger, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, will your personal data may be sold or transferred as part of any such transaction. This Privacy Policy shall then apply to any personal data transferred to the new entity. We share or disclose non-personal data, such as aggregated information like the total number of times people engaged with a public posting, user demographics, the number of users who clicked on a particular link or voted on a poll, topics trending within a live stream in a particular location, any popular or shared interests, or reports to advertisers about how many users have viewed or clicked on their advertising.

The most current version of the policy will be noted by the release date at the top of the policy, and will govern the manner in which we process your personal data.
